Elf and I had our Special Day Together yesterday. We weren't able to go ice skating because there were no open skate times, but we did get the information about skate times to use later and our skates are in the trunk of my car instead of in the living room

The kids have gone back to sleeping together in the same bed, lying next to each other. This morning Elf's face was snuggled into Ben's tummy, and when I went to check on them just now, they're asleep holding hands.
The kids started school. I get to drive them every day and am loving that (two whole days so far..."morning" hasn't really set in all the way, I don't think). I got to introduce myself to their teachers last week when I dropped off bulky supply items (paper towels, etc.) AND I got to introduce the kids to their teachers

My son to his father this morning as Husband tried to get him up, out of bed, and dressed for school: "Daddy, I slower like Mommy. You and Elf are fast. Me and Mommy are slow."
Elf got me up this morning a bit after seven. I dozed with her snuggled into bed next to me for 15 more minutes or so, and when I opened my eyes, she was wearing my necklace and my glasses. Then she put the necklace on me and put the ring she'd taken off the necklace on my finger. So. Sweet

Ben woke up first this morning and Husband brought him to our bed so as not to awaken Girl or Company. He was happy and babbly and smiley and drinking his milk.
